campsite review just back from our third visit to the site,theres been some improvements since our last visit mainly recycling facilitys,a dog waste bin and solar lights along the roadside to the touring pitches,as usual awarm friendly welcome from anne and a lovely relaxing break on a cracking site its no wonder people keep coming back highly recommended to anyone looking for a scenic site right on a beach and we can also recommend the argyle hotel good food at very reasonable prices.the only down side is eventualy you have to go home!

fantastic stay at killiegruer myself and the two kids loved this site ,its clean ,braw sandy beaches and the welcome you get from ann puts you at ease right away,so much so we will be returning this year.shops are only a short walk/drive into glenbarr, people on site were so friendly and the toilets and shower rooms were in good repair and spotlessly clean, a credit to you ann ,Graeme ,Vikki, and Alex Bryce .

Fantastic location Had a 2 night camping break with my little boy.Wish we'd been able to stay longer. The reserved pitch was ready to drive on to on our arrival, all I can say was WOW, the location was fantastic, great views and a stones throw (if that) from a lovely uncrowded sandy beach. We were welcomed in the early evening by a very hospitable and friendly young lady who gave a quick overview of the site. My 5 year old son loved the beach, the clear sea and the rock pools.The toilet / shower block was clean and in good repair. Had a small campfire on the beach whilst watching the sun set ....amazingI can definitely recommend this site, as I will return here. (Well worth the long drive)If you are camping bring a few extra ropes as the wind does pick up, as you would expect being on the coast. In summary, very welcoming and friendly, very clean and a fantastic location. Thank you for a great stay.Rob

Stunning Location & Fantastic Service Just back from a wonderful 2 week stay and it was even better than we expected Remote and rugged location with beautiful stunning beach and scenery & the owner Anne is a wee gem of a lady who is very Welcoming and Friendly. Seasonal static & tourer caravan owners also very friendly and helpful. Toilets are found to be immaculate anytime of day. Always plenty of toilet paper, hand soap, hot water for showers and washing up your dishes at the designated wash up area. Anne is always not far away if you need any information or assistance. Many Thanks Anne we will be back next year!

Hidden Gem Still on way home after two magical weeks, car flooded with tears as we didn't want to leave this stunning site. Thank you Anne for the warm welcome and the laughs. Views to die for. Facilities immaculate. Duncan had a lovely rest!!!! :) Everyone on site friendly and helpful. Our little piece of heaven on earth.

Camping Hi Anne, nice to meet you for the first (and hopefully not the last !! ) time yesterday. Just to say what a cracking little campsite you have with excellent views.
